Water Pump Medium - Reid

The Reid water pump is the most popular due to its high water output capacity and suitability for children aged 3-10 years. The pump can be installed in large creek beds and sandpits or children can use the rounded hook on the spout to fill buckets and transfer the water to garden beds or the sand pit.

The Reid pump is ideal for schools and playgrounds with large numbers of children because of its size, durability and water capacity. It’s an ideal tool in schools for teaching children basic mathematics through measuring and pouring and science concepts on how the water is drawn up and recirculated. Teachers also use the pump to instil water conservation principles in their students. The pump also teaches children to cooperate, share and negotiate the use of the pump and bucket.
